Humans have a tendency to be rigid and obsessed with themselves. They don't want to have any advice from others about their own particular life.
My very own favourite quote of Winston Churchill is "Personally I am always ready to learn, although I do not always like being taught."
But if you can keep aside your complex psychology and try to imbibe the laws of nature, then this universe has so much to offer.
Let's try to learn a bit from the universe.
If you can learn, learn from things happening around.
If you are not an egotistical maniac then you can learn
from the fellow beings around the most. Learn the way they live, not exist.
Once I met a person, namely ‘XYZ’, who changed my
perspective of life. XYZ was focused and determined yet at the same time XYZ
did full justice to ‘Carpe Diem’. XYZ planned about the unpredictable future still never
compromised with the available present. If you ever asked XYZ that what could be changed
in his present, he would simply retort with a Nothing. Because he was living
the way he wanted to live. This thing caught me. We either get totally carried
forward by our dreams, ignoring the present, or we stay bounded in our past.
XYZ taught a simple yet so complicated principle of life – enjoy your life now
and also enjoy your life tomorrow. Plan, dream, work but live too. You should
be able to answer the question “What is it that you want to change in your
life?” with a Nothing. You should live the way you want to live from now on
itself. Don’t wait for colleges or graduations or any other career achievement
to make you happy. Don't linger on the practice of being grateful just because your wild love life is not so wild yet. Be happy now with what all you can have.
One more thing XYZ had which never ceased to miss my eye
was Hakuna Matata. No Worries. All cool. Never lose your calm in any freaking
hot situation.
So what else can can you learn?
You can learn almost everything if you are ready to learn
with an open heart.
(I just wrote this post in one go, sitting in a car and observing around my enigmatic environment)
If you can learn from animals, then you can learn so many
unspoken traits of humanity.
Take a dog, for example, showering you with unconditional
love, providing you doubtless loyalty and hearing your boring dramas over n
over ‘gain. Learn from them the qualities of being a true friend, which they
obviously are.
Now come to cats. Oh! People change their way seeing them
(stereotypes, Duh!). Yet cats jump high, run fast and hide perfectly. Learn from them
some jugaad(ways to make things happen your way)
I just saw a cow. They are worshiped in India, seriously?
They roam around on the roads, starving and dying. They get to eat poly-bags and
our wastes. They sit in the middle of the road for a sunbath and everyone crosses
the road carefully avoiding to disturb them but when they lie injured, who goes for their first aid? Learn from this the difference between fake fame and real care. The
ones who from heart worship them, care and nurture them; the others are just
faking the love. Love and respect is not just opposing beef; it is providing cows with a shelter and a fodder.
Chirp chirp I hear, so many birds around. You love birds
but You want them for you and you cage them. You take away their freedom for your
momentary pleasures. Is this love? Keeping someone in a boundary that you
created. No. Learn the art of letting go. If you love them, set them free.
Now let’s talk about green, the plants. You water them,
provide them with manures and even talk to them when you need solitary peace. Plants pamper you with fruits or flowers or some medicinal herb even if you not take due care of them. It’s in their
nature to quest the thirst of humans. You can learn to be kind and respectful
and helpful to everyone, despite of the fact how much wrecked their karma is.
If you can learn, learn the language of universe which
needs no words.
( Bibliography – The Alchemist, Pauolo Coelho)
Learn the way the sun shines bright and bright even after
proving light to its beloved moon.
Learn the way the mountains reward the plains with rivers.
Learn the way the plains thank the mountains through the
greens.
Learn the way the Great Pyramids hold still and high.
Learn from the nature, the universe and the mankind.
If you look around yourself, you will find yourself in a
mystical world and you won’t ever say, ‘ I m bored’
But you have to be willing to look.
And you have to be patient enough to let the nature come bare in front of your crooked and manipulative thoughts.
